Illustrationcupboard Gallery is honoured to be hosting the 20 year anniversary exhibition with illustrator Anita Jeram and author Sam McBratney. This exhibition offers an unrivalled opportunity for visitors, enthusiasts and collectors to view and acquire pieces from a unique archive of over 90 related works - never seen before. This is not to be missed! Amongst a variety of original artwork by Anita is a very rare selection of original full-colour working illustrations produced for the original book. David McKee and 35 years of Not Now, Bernard

Not Now, Bernard is widely regarded as one of David McKee’s most iconic picture books, appealing to both adults and children alike. We are delighted to celebrate this landmark 35 year anniversary with David McKee and Andersen Press on the evening of Wednesday 23 September, with a reception and refreshments from 5:30pm. David's original, published Not Now, Bernard illustration artwork will be on show but not for sale alongside one piece of original artwork for sale: the German front cover artwork of Not Now Bernard
David will be in attendance at the gallery and sign and draw in copies of the new limited run anniversary edition (£35) as well as other books. A variety of David's artwork from many of his best-selling books published throughout long and esteemed career will be on show throughout the week and will include art from the original Mr Benn books and animated films, Elmer and King Rollo to name but three. The evening event is open to all, families are welcome and entrance is free.
