Australian illustrator Shaun Tan is a prodigious artistic talent whose reputation is truly and justifiably global. With a string of accolades behind him, Shaun was recipient of Australia’s Dromkeen Medal in 2010, and awarded the Astrid Lindgren Award in 2011, known as the Noble Prize for Children’s Literature. He further joined a select band of Oscar Winners the same year gaining an Academy Award for his short animated film, The Lost Thing.
