Brian Cosgrove (Cosgrove Hall Animations) biography
Brian Cosgrove and co-founder Mark Hall started Cosgrove Hall Films in 1976 as an independent company with investors Thames Television. Its first series was Chorlton and the Wheelies but Danger Mouse was one of the earliest international successes with the studio making eighty-nine episodes between 1981 and 1992. Other studio films include the 1983 film, The Wind in the Willows, (BAFTA and EMMY Awards) as well as Count Duckula and a collaboration with Terry Pratchett on Truckers. Cosgrove Hall continued in production until 2008.
